Who Awakens the Kundalini?
Kundalini is a subtle spiritual energy that rests at the base of the spine, near the Muladhara Chakra. In yoga, Kundalini awakening is seen as a natural process of inner growth, not something to be forced.
1. The Students Through Practice.
Kundalini is prepared and gently awakened through regular and disciplined practice, such as:
Yoga asanas, Kriyas , Mudras , Bandhas , Pranayamas (breathing practices), Meditation, Mantra chanting, and Yamas and Niyamas (right conduct and lifestyle)
These practices purify the body and mind and create balance. They do not force Kundalini, but help the energy rise naturally when the student is ready.

2. The Role of the Teacher (Guru)
A qualified yoga teacher or guru plays a vital role in guiding students. (We have the best and most knowledgeable teachers in the world).
Our teachers:
Explain correct technique
Ensure safe practice
helps students stay grounded
In advanced spiritual paths, a knowledgeable guru can awaken Kundalini through shaktipat, but this should only be done under proper guidance.
3. Divine Grace
From a yogic view, Kundalini awakening happens by Divine Grace. Even with sincere practice, the final awakening occurs when the inner consciousness allows it. This teaches patience and surrender.
4. Readiness and Purity
Kundalini awakens only when the student is physically, mentally, and emotionally ready. A calm mind, healthy body, and ethical lifestyle are more important than intense practice.
Important Note for Students:
Kundalini should never be forced through extreme techniques or curiosity. Yoga teaches balance, awareness, and gradual progress. The goal of yoga is health, clarity, and self-realization, not just energy awakening.
Conclusion
For yoga students, Kundalini is awakened through regular practice, right guidance, inner purity, and Divine Grace. When practiced with patience and respect, yoga becomes a safe and transformative journey.
